In December, our Y10 Spanish students sent handmade Christmas cards and personalised gifts to their pen pals at New Taipei Municipal Zhonghe Senior High School in Taiwan.
These parcels travelled over 6,000 miles from London to Taipei, and now we are delighted to announce that our students returned from their holiday break to find a large box from Taiwan waiting at the school’s doorstep!
Inside were cards and gifts sent from the overseas students, containing Diabolo games, plush toys, and a set of Taiwanese Pokémon cards, just to name a few. The generosity of their pen pals extended far beyond simple gift giving. Instead, it offered our students a rare glimpse into the interests and cultural life of children from across the globe.
