We are pleased to announce that our Year 9 students have completed a cultural exchange programme called “Travelling Treasures,” which allowed them to interact online with students from a school in Taiwan, creating projects centred around objects found in London’s British Museum and Taipei’s National Palace Museum.

For the project, our pupils created introductory videos about themselves for their Taiwanese peers, choosing objects in the British Museum for those students to research. In turn, they received excellent videos and objects from the National Palace Museum about which to create their projects.

During an assembly last week, both sets of students met online and shared their projects with one another. The experience has been a fantastic way for our Year 9 students to learn about the cultural history of the region and interact with students their age from the other side of the globe!
