Students have just received their certificates from the British Biology Olympiad (BBO) which took place in February. The Olympiad challenges and motivates upper sixth form students with an interest in biology, and allows them to demonstrate their knowledge by offering a wide ranging syllabus. This year, 9465 students from 727 schools worldwide took part. Only 7.2% gained the Gold award and 8.2% gained a Silver award. We are therefore incredibly proud of Kai Wan who won a Gold and Parisa Aliakbari who obtained a Silver. Congratulations for your truly outstanding achievements!
