Andy travelled to Paris over the weekend with the Streatham U13s, competing in the Boulbi cup tournament against teams from France, Holland and Germany. Streatham won all their matches on the Saturday which took them to the semi-final where they beat Bordeaux on penalties. In the final, they played a very strong team from Hamburg and sadly lost, but a second place and a silver medal against a strong opposition is a great achievement indeed. The photo is a disappointed Andy; no-one likes to lose!
It was a great bonding exercise for the team who had so much fun on and off the rink, which was lovely to see. The group climbed the Eiffel Tower, walked around the streets of Paris and sampled endless amount of crepes!
