KPS sixth form boarders recently travelled up to Edinburgh for the weekend in a continuing effort to explore the UK outside of London. This was a huge leap from the usual trips to Oxford, Portsmouth and Cambridge, but well worth the 9 hours total journey time.
A packed weekend included visiting Edinburgh Castle and Holyrood House, and involved plenty of walking up and down the hills of Edinburgh city centre.
Whilst one student was disappointed at the lack of Scottish accents they heard, none of the students could complain about the views from the top of Edinburgh Castle and the sunny weather we were blessed with, a far cry from the stereotypical, grey Scottish weather.
