Year 10 Geography students went on a recent trip to Battersea to carry out their Human Fieldwork. They were investigating the impact of the regeneration projects in Nine Elms on the area, including the redevelopment of Battersea Power Station. Despite the cold weather, they collected data about traffic, noise levels and environmental quality around the area. Students will be evaluating the results in class this week. Battersea also links to two of their GCSE Case Studies, and seeing the area for themselves helped to cement the knowledge they have already developed this year.
